I did not jump in and loved eating more Vegetables and Fruit. It grew on me over time.... Here is a combination of recipes Vegetable, Fruit and Whole Grain based. Great for embarking on the Daniels Fast or just wanting to go more Vegetarian, Detox or just eating more Healthy and Whole foods. These recipes are gathered from many places, friends, books and some even put together by me in desperation to eat something tasty and healthy. Please feel free to comment and give feedback.

LEMONY WALNUT RICE PILAF
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts,
2t olive oil,
1 yellow bell pepper cubed,
1/2 red onion cut in strips,
2 cloves garlic minced,
2 cups cooked brown rice,
1T chopped parsley,
1/2t lemon zest,
2T fresh lemon juice,
salt and black pepper to taste
-Toast walnuts in skillet.
-Heat olive oil, add pepper, onion and garlic, saute.
-Add cooked rice and mix through.
-Stir in nuts, parsley, lemon zest and lemon juice.
