I did not jump in and loved eating more Vegetables and Fruit. It grew on me over time.... Here is a combination of recipes Vegetable, Fruit and Whole Grain based. Great for embarking on the Daniels Fast or just wanting to go more Vegetarian, Detox or just eating more Healthy and Whole foods. These recipes are gathered from many places, friends, books and some even put together by me in desperation to eat something tasty and healthy. Please feel free to comment and give feedback.

CAJUN SKILLET BEANS
1 medium onion chopped,
2 cloves garlic minced,
1T olive oil,
3 celery stalks chopped,
2 green or red peppers sliced,
1T fresh basil,
black pepper and salt to taste,
1 pinch cayenne pepper,
2 cups chopped fresh or canned tomatoes,
1T dijon mustard,
4 cups red kidney beans cooked,
1 thinly sliced red onion for garnish.
If it seems dry add a bit of water.
-Saute onion, garlic, peppers and celery.
-Add the rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
-Garnish with thin red onion slices.
-Serve with brown rice.
